With the Farmer's Hero not only are your bonuses managed for you, but they are manged that way you want. By changing the Hero's settings you can fine tune your bonus gathering experience to enhance your own personal gaming strategy.
With a simple flip of your finger you can tell the Hero to check for new bonuses as frequenty as you need or to not automatically check at all (handy if you have limited or metered bandwidth).

Disabling audio alerts allows you to run the Hero during business meetings or while you sleep.

Players of Farmville know that when you receive a bonus the resulting prize is transferred to your gift box. However this gift box can fill up quite quickly causing new items to overflow the box and are then lost.

How does the Farmer's Hero work?

When you run the Farmer's Hero application and log on using your Facebook account, it will watch your Facebook feed for bonuses which your friends have published. When the Hero finds a new one it will go and and attempt to fetch it for you. This Hero will do this all day and all night, while you are doing other, more important things.

The application must be running and you must be logged on using your Facebook username and password. You can leave it running even if the iPhone's screen goes dark and the phone locks. As long as the app is running it is checking for new items.

The Farmer's Hero shows which items are available for you. If a new item is discovered which matches a category you selected in the Settings page then the Farmer's Hero attempts to fetch the item. When this occurs you will see a spinning indicator for the item in the Bonuses screen.

Once the item has been fetched the spinning indicator is replaced with a checkmark, indicating the Hero has done his job and contacted Farmville on your behalf. If the bonus was available for you then the Hero has retrieved it filling up your giftbox, adding to your fuel supply or increasing how many coins you have (depending upon the bonus).

How to get the Farmer's Hero

The Farmer's Hero is available on the Apple AppStore and can be purchased and downloaded to your iPhone.

The Application's Requirements

The Farmer's Hero requires, of course, a Facebook account and that you are playing Farmville. Additionally your iPhone must have Internet access; either through your phone's service provider or through WiFi connections.

The Hero application requires that you have at least the iPhone OS version 3.0. If you don't have this (or a higher) version then you can update your iPhone using iTunes.
